The Sydney Roosters have locked in young gun Sam Walker for the long haul in a move sure to add even more firepower to their squad.
Already committed to the 2025 NRL season, Walker has now inked a two-year extension, keeping him at Bondi until at least 2027 under the guidance of coach Trent Robinson.
Although his 2024 season was cut short by a pesky ACL injury, Walker was starting to showcase his immense talent before being sidelined in a clash against the Canberra Raiders.
While he'll have to sit out the early part of the 2025 season to fully recover, the Roosters are keen to have him back in action and tearing up the field for the tri-colours.
Despite the setback, negotiations for Walker's future have been in the pipes for some time, with the dynamic playmaker always tipped to stay loyal to the Roosters rather than testing the waters elsewhere.
Now, it's official - Walker is here to stay and ready to make his mark on the Rugby League scene.
