Former Wakefield Trinity speedster Lewis Murphy is set to make a triumphant return to the Betfred Super League in 2025, this time wearing the red and white of St Helens.

The Sydney Roosters' flyer has inked a two-year deal with the Saints, becoming the latest addition to their squad for the upcoming season alongside Tristan Sailor and Kyle Feldt.

Murphy made a name for himself with Wakefield Trinity back in 2022, lighting up the field with his lightning-fast pace and knack for finding the try line.

Despite suffering a setback with an ACL injury last year, the young winger has bounced back stronger than ever, honing his skills with the Roosters' New South Wales Cup outfit.

Saints' head honcho, Paul Wellens, couldn't contain his excitement at the prospect of Murphy joining their ranks.

"Lewis is a promising talent who has already proven himself in the tough and tumble world of rugby league.

We witnessed firsthand his try-scoring prowess when he ran riot against us, and I have no doubt that he will shine in the squad and bring a lot of energy to the game."

With Murphy on board, St Helens' outside backs are looking stronger than ever, ready to take on any challengers that come their way in the upcoming season.

Get ready for some electrifying plays and jaw-dropping moments on the field as Murphy straps on his boots and prepares to dazzle fans with his skills.
