Roosters boss Nick Politis has lashed out at the St George Illawarra Dragons, labeling their salary cap sledge as "jealousy." The rivalry between the two NRL teams has been reignited after a video announcement for the next Anzac Day clash.

Politis criticized Dragons players Jack Bird and Kyle Flanagan for their charades performance, which involved miming handing a bag and making it rain, followed by Flanagan guessing "brown paper bags - Roosters." Flanagan, who previously played as the Roosters' halfback in 2020, may hold some bitterness towards his former team.

The feud between the Roosters and Dragons is expected to intensify leading up to their next clash, with tensions running high between the two clubs.

The NRL community will be watching closely as this age-old rivalry continues to unfold.
