Panthers' Dylan Edwards out for four, team update

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Panthers have confirmed that Dylan Edwards will be sidelined for around four weeks due to a PCL injury he sustained during the State of Origin decider.

The fullback, known for his gritty playing style, will need to wear a brace on his right knee while he undergoes rehabilitation.

Panthers' head physio, Pete Green, assured fans that Edwards is determined to make a swift recovery and is expected to return to the field in about a month.

"Dylan Edwards was the lone casualty from the Origin clash, showing true grit by soldiering on despite the injury.

He will now focus on strengthening his knee and building up his fitness before making a comeback," Green stated.

The Panthers will be missing their reliable fullback for the upcoming games, but they are confident in his ability to bounce back stronger than ever.

Edwards' return to the field will be eagerly anticipated by fans and teammates alike.
