'Stay loyal': Spencer Leniu determined to be a Rooster for life, aiming to show his gratitude for the club's unwavering support during the recent racism scandal.

Leniu, in an attempt to repay the Roosters for their backing, has expressed his desire to remain with the club for the long haul.

Leniu, who found himself embroiled in controversy early in his Roosters tenure with an eight-match ban for a racial slur directed at Broncos' player Ezra Mam, acknowledges the uphill battle he faces in winning back the respect of fans, particularly in Queensland where he anticipates facing some backlash during his State of Origin debut.

However, amidst the storm of criticism he faced, Leniu found solace in the unwavering support of the Roosters' organization, standing by him throughout the ordeal.

"It was a rough patch, but I'll bounce back," Leniu declared.

"I can't thank the Roosters enough.

They had my back when things got rough.

Their loyalty and support mean the world to me, and I'm determined to repay that faith by giving my all to the club."

Through their actions, the Roosters stood by Leniu during his darkest hour, solidifying the bond between player and club, and shaping a path forward filled with promise and redemption.
