The Newcastle Knights have announced that forward Pasami Saulo will make his return to the club in 2026.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, Saulo, a junior from Maitland, began his professional career with the Knights in 2018.
A former Australian Schoolboy, he progressed through the Knights' development programs and played 27 matches for the team from 2018 to 2022 before transferring to the Canberra Raiders.
During his three seasons in Canberra, he participated in 31 games, often finding himself on the cusp of a starting position under coach Ricky Stuart.
In 2020, Saulo represented the Maori All Stars but hasn't played in the first-grade this year.
There have been ongoing rumors about his return to Newcastle, and now the club has confirmed a two-year deal that will see him rejoin until the end of 2027.
Peter O'Sullivan, head of recruitment for the Knights, expressed the club's satisfaction with bringing Saulo back.
