Shane Flanagan, the head honcho at St George Illawarra Dragons, has made it crystal clear that he won't be tapping Tyrell Sloan on the shoulder and calling him back into action for this weekend's showdown against Melbourne Storm.
The decision to give Sloan the old heave-ho came before the Dragons duked it out with the Penrith Panthers, with Mat Feagai stepping up to the plate as fullback.
Unfortunately, the result wasn't exactly a walk in the park, with the Dragons taking a beating from the NRL champs.
Adding insult to injury, Feagai didn't pass the concussion test with flying colors.
This means he's now on the NRL's mandatory concussion timeout list for 11 days.
Flanagan spilled the beans to the media on Friday, revealing that he hadn't planned on tossing Sloan back into the fire so soon.
"It was more forced," he admitted with a shrug.
