England's women will include Australian-based heritage players at a World Cup for the first time, with five NRLW stars selected for the 2026 tournament.
Coach Stuart Barrow's 23-player squad features Sydney Roosters second-rower Jasmin Strange, Canterbury Bulldogs prop Hope Millard, Newcastle Knights playmaker Georgia Roche, North Queensland fullback Fran Goldthorp and Canberra Raiders forward Hollie-Mae Dodd.
Strange, 23, is eligible for Australia, England and New Zealand but told Barrow she wanted to represent England, citing her family ties.
She is preparing for her fourth consecutive NRLW grand final, against the Broncos on Sunday.
Millard, 21, was born in Widnes while her father Shane was playing in England and appeared in every Bulldogs match this season.
Strange and Millard are among four England debutants, alongside Leeds Rhinos' Connie Boyd and Wigan Warriors' Lucie Sams.
Goldthorp returns to the England side for the first time since the 2022 World Cup, where she played four matches and scored three tries.
England open against Wales at HBF Park on October 17, meet the Jillaroos on October 24, then face Fetu Samoa at WIN Stadium on October 30.

Barrow said the squad brought together NRLW and Women's Super League talent, creating "a unique blend of quality and experience".
