Corey Horsburgh has pulled a massive backflip on his decision to leave the Canberra Raiders, choosing to stay put after all.

The rugged forward has had a rough season, battling injuries and suspensions while also facing some challenges with coach Ricky Stuart.

A few weeks back, Horsburgh's agent dropped a bombshell, announcing that the player wanted out due to some miscommunications with the coach.

The Raiders reluctantly agreed to let him go, sparking interest from several NRL teams including the Wests Tigers, St George Illawarra Dragons, Canterbury Bulldogs, and Brisbane Broncos.

The Tigers seemed to be leading the race for his signature, especially after a standout performance by Horsburgh in a recent match against the Dragons.

Despite speculation swirling around his future, the former Queensland Maroons representative has had a change of heart and decided to stay loyal to the Raiders.

With his contract set to run until 2027, Horsburgh is ready to dig in and prove his worth on the field.

The forward's decision to stay signals his commitment to the green machine and a determination to make a lasting impact in the NRL.
