The Raiders' NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams had a successful weekend, as they secured crucial victories over the Knights at Raiders Belconnen on Sunday.
The NSW Cup team emerged victorious with a 36-24 win, earning them two important points.
This win places the Raiders in eighth position on the ladder, just two points behind the second-placed Warriors in what is an extremely competitive ladder.
In the initial 30 minutes of the game, the Raiders took a commanding 18-0 lead over the Knights, with Clay Webb, Trey Mooney, and Mitchell Spencer all contributing tries and Chevy Stewart successfully converting all three.
However, the Knights managed to score a try through Jack Johns, with Lachlan Miller converting, resulting in a halftime score of 18-6.
Shortly after the start of the second half, Raiders winger James Schiller scored a try, followed by Stewart, who not only scored a try but also converted it, extending the home team's lead to 28-6.
