Brandon Smith has found himself on the sidelines as a result of his team breach, while a standout Tiger has been shuffled around and Origin contenders are back in action for round 15.

The Roosters have made a bold statement regarding their standards, dropping Brandon Smith for disciplinary reasons after he missed a team meeting during their bye week.

Smith, who feared he may have been given the boot altogether, will instead be sidelined for Saturday night's clash against the Eels.

In his place, Connor Watson will return from a throat injury to don the hooker role.

As preparations ramp up for the upcoming State of Origin series, this round presents a final chance for hopefuls to showcase their skills.

The Tigers have also made a significant decision regarding Api Koroisau, but all eyes are on Smith's absence, which is the most prominent change for round 15.

"It was a silly mistake on my part," Smith admitted to The Bye Round podcast.

"You always double-check your schedule before hitting the sack.

But I was probably in the mindset of a regular game where you get a day off post-match."

Fans can catch all the NRL action live on Kayo, with no ad-breaks during play.

It's shaping up to be a thrilling round with plenty of drama and excitement on the horizon.
