Benji Marshall keeps fans guessing with injury news

Wests Tigers head coach Benji Marshall refused to comment on refereeing decisions during their recent loss to the New Zealand Warriors, as he did not want to risk being fined like Ricky Stuart did.

Despite controversial calls going against the Tigers, Marshall chose not to dwell on it, saying, "I don't want to do what Ricky [Stuart] did and risk getting fined by talking about the ref because we aren't allowed to, so I won't bring it up." The Tigers were left frustrated after two tries were disallowed in the final 20 minutes, and the Warriors were awarded a match-winning penalty goal after a bunker intervention.

Marshall remained tight-lipped about the decisions made by the referees, deflecting further questions on the topic.

The loss brought the Tigers back to a two and two start for the year, unable to close out the game despite being ahead heading into the final 20 minutes.

Marshall also provided an injury update, saying, "a buy essay muscle injury is more serious than initially thought, and he is expected to miss an extended period of time." The veteran playmaker's absence will be felt by the Tigers, who will need to regroup and bounce back from the disappointing defeat.

Despite the controversial calls and injuries, Marshall remains focused on moving forward and putting the loss behind them.
